Reverse Biden decision canceling program targeting Illegal Alien Sex Offenders

Outrage, the Biden administration has cancelled the Trump administrations Operation
Talon which targeted sex offenders in our country illegally!
Rep. Vern Buchanan
(R-Fla) has issued the following statement condemning the cancellation and
BALANCE concurs:
"Targeting sex
offenders who are in our country illegally is a no brainer, right? Then why is
President Biden canceling “Operation Talon” launched by the Trump
administration? Let me know if you share my outrage and want to see it
reinstated.

U.S. Rep. Vern
Buchanan blasted a decision to cancel a program targeting sex offenders in the
nation illegally.
Immigration and
Customs Enforcement nixed “Project Talon” weeks after it was launched under
former President Donald Trump, The Washington Post reported. Now, the Sarasota
Republican Congressman wants an explanation from President Joe Biden’s
administration.
“Canceling this
program makes absolutely no sense and sends the wrong message,” Buchanan said.
“If you are in this country illegally and have a history of sex convictions,
you should be a high priority for our law enforcement agencies.”
Buchanan joins 18
state Attorney Generals, including Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, in
calling for the program’s reinstatement.
In a letter to
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and acting ICE Director Tae
Johnson, Buchanan stressed concern that ending the program may inspire sex
abusers to flee to the United States.
“With sex crimes
including human trafficking continuing to rise in the U.S., now is clearly not
the time to thwart efforts intended to remove these dangerous predators from
our country,” Buchanan said.
“It’s unclear
whether the cancellation of ‘Operation Talon’ was intentional or collateral
damage in your softening of immigration enforcement, but regardless the program
needs to be reinstated.”
Biden officials have
told the Post and Fox News they had no direct hand in ending the program and
suggested it may simply have been shelved as the new administration shapes new
direction to ICE.
Buchanan, who has
worked closely on trafficking issues with Florida-based organizations like
Selah Freedom, wants to make sure any new direction includes sending a message
to rapists and child molesters that they won’t find
safe harbor in the U.S. He has introduced legislation including the Human
Trafficking and Exploitation Prevention Training Act to help authorities better
identify and investigate sexual abuse.
“America should not
be viewed as a sanctuary country to these criminals,” Buchanan said.
“The administration
owes the country an explanation for this decision and it should reverse the
action to show that it is serious in addressing these types of heinous crimes.”
Also Outrageously, the Biden administration has opened the
Border to hundreds of thousands from 72 nations with cases of coronavirus,
creating a Threat to the Public Health Environment.
"Some 150,000
illegal immigrants from 72 nations with cases of the coronavirus have been
apprehended or deemed inadmissible from entering the United States since
November, raising the ongoing border crisis to a potential public health
threat, according to officials.
New figures show
that over half of the nearly 300,000 illegal immigrants apprehended or deemed
“inadmissible” this fiscal year came from nations with cases of the
coronavirus, including China, Italy, Iran, and South Korea."

should close our Borders permanently to Illegal Entry and limit Legal
Immigration by imposing an all-categories-included zero Net Moratorium on Legal
Immigration (which would still allow about 150,000 legal settlers annually).

This Solution to the
Mass Legal immigration problem includes ending the Visa Lottery, Chain
Migration and Birthright Citizenship, and above all limiting the overall

dramatically limiting or even eliminating the number of H1b Visas.The
USA does NOT have a STEM or other worker shortage, as four separate studies

We reiterate: to
reduce the number of Illegals, it is essential to dramatically reduce the
number of LEGAL “Slots” (e.g., the uncapped Asylee Category) which serve as a
Magnet for Illegal Aliens coming! The Asylee category encourages Child
Trafficking, because if an Illegal migrant brings or “acquires” a child, that
Illegal immigrant is not deported, and is likely to get a green card.
So tell Congress and the Biden administration NOW you want reactivation
of Operation Talon. And tell them You want Enactment of an
all-Categories-included Zero-NET MORATORIUM (i.e., where Immigration equals
Emigration, i.e., about 150,000 per year) on Legal Immigration! and Funding to
Complete building The Wall, Implementation of e-Verify,
An end to Catch and Release and unlimited grants of
Asylum and Chain Migration Anchor Baby citizenship and All work-based Visas
(e.g., no more H1a and H1b Visas).
Over 25 Million
Americans are now unemployed, so now is the time to mandate a “Hire Americans
Only” policy. Consider the consequences of NOT implementing the
aforementioned. Among the most important are:
